Our History
Church of the Holy Apostles began in the fall of 1994 as a mission church of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. There were originally 12 people meeting at the home of our founding Rector and his wife, Bob and Karen Henson. From 1995-2000 Sunday services were held at various Katy schools, predominately at West Memorial Junior High. In 2000 we moved into our current (and expanding) facility on the Grand Parkway.
Our numerical growth is insignificant, however, when compared with the spiritual growth of the congregation. People from many different walks have discovered the joy and deep meaning that is available in a caring, committed, Christian community and find this church to be their "home away from home".
